A new space for tailor-made courses...
Reach Cambridge has recently moved into Chesterton Tower, a beautiful 14th Century castle on the outskirts of Cambridge. The traditional arched grand hall, complete with all original features, is an exquisite space which has sparked many new and exciting possibilities for Reach Cambridge.
From this base, we are currently adapting established courses and developing original, fresh courses that combine skills and learning with the tradition, culture and beauty of the tower, the city of Cambridge and the surrounding countryside. Our courses will include a residential component with an emphasis on bringing the outside environment into the learning space. They will also include recreational visits and exploration of the local surroundings.
The courses can take place at any time throughout the year, at different intervals and for long or short periods of time. Examples of courses already successfully established and running at Reach Cambridge include English Language and Leadership, English literature and Drama, Economics, Science and History. New courses will also be tailor-made and targeted at different age groups and all backgrounds.
The tower has an overall capacity for up to 25 students at one time.
